Barnsley sign goalkeeper Iain Turner

Goalkeeper Iain Turner has completed a move to Barnsley on a free transfer.

The 30-year-old has been without a club since he was released by Preston North End last summer.

The Scottish stopper spent eight seasons at Everton between 2003 and 2011, but he only made four Premier League appearances at Goodison Park.

Turner is expected to be on the bench for Barnsley's match at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
