Portsmouth midfielder Akos Buzsaky has signed a loan deal with Barnsley until the end of the year.
The Hungary international had joined Pompey from Queens Park Rangers on a short-term contract last month.
"I'm optimistic, I'm ready to fight," said the 30-year-old. "I'll be here on loan until the end of December and Barnsley will have eight games during this period so I'll have time to prove that I can produce well on this stage."
Barnsley, who are currently in 20th place in the Championship table, host Cardiff City at Oakwell on Saturday.
