Barnsley have reportedly rejected an enquiry from Birmingham City for in-form midfielder Stephen Dawson.
The former Republic of Ireland youth international, 27, who joined the Tykes from Leyton Orient in January 2012, has scored three goals in his last six Championship outings.
Dawson's future at Oakwell is said to be uncertain following the sacking of manager Keith Hill last weekend.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Barnsley are adamant that no transfer decisions will be made until Hill's replacement is appointed.
Dawson has 18 months remaining on his current contract.
