Team News: Artiz Aduriz on bench for Athletic Bilbao

Athletic Bilbao striker Artiz Aduriz starts from the bench for the Champions League clash with BATE Borisov.

Artiz Aduriz is among the substitutes for Athletic Bilbao as they look to secure a Europa League place against BATE Borisov at the San Mames.

The 33-year-old had been a doubt with a hamstring injury but will be available from the bench, with 21-year-old Guillermo Fernandez called on to lead the line for the Basque side.

Markel Susaeta also starts for Athletic Club behind the forwards, with Iker Muniain only among the substitutes.

Meanwhile, BATE, who must win in Northern Spain to leapfrog Bilbao and reach the Europa League knockout phase, have Anri Khagush back from a one-game ban while experienced midfielder Dzmitry Likhtarovich is left out of the starting lineup for the visitors.

Athletic Bilbao: Iraizoz, Laporte, San Jose, Iraola, Balenziaga, Ander Iturraspe, De Marcos, Ibai Gomez, Susaeta, Rico, Guillermo Fernandez

BATE Borisov: Soroko, Khagush, Filipenko, Tubic, Yablonski, Karnitski, A Volodko, Olekhnovich, M Volodko, Rodionov, Gordeychuk
