Team News: Juan Iturbe handed start for Roma

Attacker Juan Iturbe is drafted into the Roma starting lineup for their Champions League match with BATE Borisov.

Attacker Juan Iturbe has been included in Roma's starting lineup for their Champions League match with BATE Borisov.

Both Edin Dzeko and Francesco Totti suffered injuries in Serie A action at the weekend, leading to Rudi Garcia opting to start with Iturbe in the final third.

There is also a return in goal for goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, just two weeks after he was ruled out for a month with a hand injury.

As for BATE, former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb is the standout name in their squad, but he is only named on the bench.

BATE Borisov: Chernik, Dubra, Milunovic, Mladenovic, Polyakov, Yablonski, Nikolic, Stasevich, M.Volodko, Signevich, Gordeichuk
Subs: Soroko, Karnitski, Volodko, Rios, Aleksievich, Hleb, Jevtic

Roma: Szczesny; Florenzi, Manolas, De Rossi, Digne; Vainqueur, Nainggolan, Pjanic; Iturbe, Gervinho, Salah
Subs: De Sanctis, Castan, Maicon, Torosidis, Ucan, Falque, Soleri
