Team News: Bayer Leverkusen make one change

Bayer Leverkusen swap the suspended Lars Bender for Emre Can in their only change for this afternoon's Bundesliga clash with Hamburger SV.

Bayer Leverkusen coach Sami Hyypia has made one enforced change for this afternoon's Bundesliga clash with Hamburger SV at the BayArena.

Hyypia's side are without Lars Bender through suspension but otherwise remain unchanged from Tuesday's goalless draw with Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, drafting in Emre Can as cover in a holding midfield role.

The attacking trio of Stefan Kiessling, Sidney Sam and Son Heung-Min all keep their places, with Gonzalo Castro playing just behind in an advanced role.

Hamburg, meanwhile, name the same starting XI that were beaten at home by Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend, giving Pierre-Michel Lasogga another chance to impress ahead of Rafael van der Vaart in a lone front role.

Leverkusen: Leno, Donati, Toprak, Spahic, Boenisch, Rolfes, Can, Castro, Sam, Kiessling, Son

Hamburg: Adler, Westermann, Tah, Sobiech, Jansen, Beister, Badelj, Arslan, Calhanoglu, VDV, Lasogga
