Bayern Munich finished their Group E campaign in style by cruising to a 3-0 victory over CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

Thomas Muller opened the scoring with a penalty in the 18th minute, before late goals from Sebastian Rode and Mario Gotze ended CSKA's chances of reaching the last 16.

BAYERN MUNICH

Goal

Manuel Neuer: The German shot-stopper made a fine save to deny Doumbia, and he continued to delight the home fans with his eagerness to play the ball around on the edge of his own box. (7/10)

Defence

Sebasitan Rode: Performed solidly in an unfamiliar right-back role, and capped off an impressive attacking display by scoring his side's second. (6/10)

Jerome Boateng: Continues to excel under Pep Guardiola. Started a lot of Bayern's attacks from a deeper position as he took advantage of CSKA's limited attacking threat. (7/10)

Dante: Troubled by the pace of Doumbia in the first half, but improved as the match progressed to keep the CSKA forward quiet. (5/10)

Juan Bernat: The Spaniard was allowed to get forward on a regular basis, but he struggled to get involved in the final third of the pitch. Solid at the back, too. (6/10)

Midfield

Bastian Schweinsteiger: Controlled the midfield on his first start of the season. Kept the ball impressively, and forced the visitors back with his positive runs forward. (8/10)

Gianluca Gaudino: The 18-year-old looked comfortable on his Champions League debut, despite mostly seeing the ball in deeper positions. Replaced with just under 20 minutes remaining. (6/10)

Pierre Hojbjerg: The Dane continues to impress when given chances by Pep Guardiola. Linked well with his teammates in the final third, and tracked back to offer protection to the defence. (7/10)

Mario Gotze: Drifted in and out of the game, but always looked a threat when receiving the ball on the edge of the box. Completed the victory with a calm finish in the final minute. (7/10)

Franck Ribery: Removed at the break, but caused the visitors plenty of problems in the first half. Threatened with his clever runs, and won the penalty with a great piece of skill. (7/10)

Attack

Thomas Muller: Calmly handed Bayern the lead from the penalty spot, but struggled to get in behind the CSKA defence as the hosts stuttered going forward in the first half. Taken off at the break. (6/10)

Substitutes

Arjen Robben: Stole the show with a brilliant display in the second half. A constant threat to the CSKA defence with his direct approach. Quite simply, the best player on the pitch. (8/10)

Robert Lewandowski: Much like Muller before him, the Polish forward found it difficult to find the space he needed to operate and he missed a good chance to head home from close range. (6/10)

Mitchell Weiser: Given 20 minutes to impress, but he struggled to make an impact in the closing stages. (5/10)

Goal

Igor Akinfeev: Put his side under pressure by pushing shots into dangerous positions on more than one occasion. Unable to get close to any of the three goals. (5/10)

Defence

Mario Fernandes: Made one impressive clearance to keep out Lewandowski's header, and kept his side of the pitch quiet while others struggled to contain the hosts. (6/10)

Aleksei Berezutski: The centre-back never looked sure who he was marking as Bayern's roaming attackers made his night as difficult as possible. Avoided making any errors which may have led to goals, though. (5/10)

Sergei Ignashevich: CSKA's best defender. Competed well with both Muller and Lewandowski as he avoided taking on Bayern's quicker forwards. (7/10)

Kirill Nababkin: Looked comfortable in the first half, but he was nothing more than a passenger after the break as Robben caused chaos on the wing. (5/10)

Midfield

Pontus Wernbloom: Stuck to his task in midfield, despite spending much of the night chasing shadows as the likes of Schweinsteiger and Hojbjerg dominated. (6/10)

Bebras Natcho: A night to forget for the Israeli midfielder. Gifted Bayern the lead with a silly tackle on Ribery inside the box, and he never really recovered from the early setback. (4/10)

Roman Eremenko: Prevented from getting forward as much as he would have liked, but he was one of the few CSKA players who managed to retain possession in a congested midfield. (6/10)

Alan Dzagoev: CSKA's creative midfielder found it impossible to collect the ball further up the pitch, and he frustrated his teammates with a string of poor deliveries from set pieces. (4/10)

Ahmed Musa: Missed a good chance to equalise after sprinting clear in the second half, but opportunities were rare as Bayern kept the Nigerian on the fringes of the game. (5/10)

Attack

Seydou Doumbia: The lively forward caused problems for Bayern with his pace and persistence early in the game, but his night will be remembered for missing two great chances in the first half. (6/10)

Substitutes

Zoran Tosic: Enjoyed more success than Dzagoev, but his end product was missing on a night when CSKA needed their substitutes to fire. (5/10)

Georgi Milanov: The midfielder barely had a kick in the closing stages after being sent on in the 82nd minute. (4/10)

Dmitri Efremov: Introduced moments before Gotze's goal, and he was unable to get involved in the final couple of minutes. (4/10)
