Arjen Robben refuses to feel sorry for Borussia Dortmund

Bayern Munich ace Arjen Robben refuses to sympathise with Der Klassiker rivals Borussia Dortmund, who occupy one of the relegation places in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has claimed that he does not have an ounce of sympathy for rivals Borussia Dortmund amid their Bundesliga woes.

The Dutchman netted an 86th-minute winner to condemn Dortmund to their fifth successive league defeat in Saturday's 2-1 reverse at the Allianz Arena.

Jurgen Klopp's side won back-to-back Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012 but now occupy one of the automatic relegation places in Germany's top flight.

However, Robben expects last season's runners-up to enjoy an upturn in fortunes soon. He told reporters: "I don't think they'd have any sympathy for us [if the situation was the other way around].

"We don't need to sympathise with them: they're a top team despite their league position. I have no doubt they'll work their way back up the table."

In contrast to their domestic form, Dortmund have won all three of their Group D outings in the Champions League - including a 2-0 win at home to Arsenal - and they will look to move one step closer to the last 16 by facing Galatasaray on Tuesday.
