Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has selected Diego Contento to start at left-back for the home clash against Mainz 05.

David Alaba is deemed only fit enough for the bench after international duty, while Philipp Lahm continues in midfield as Javi Martinez remains sidelined.
