Team News: Arjen Robben, Manuel Neuer back in for Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich's Pep Guardiola recalls Manuel Neuer and Arjen Robben to his starting XI for the clash against Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga.

Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola has opted to recall Manuel Neuer and Arjen Robben to his starting XI for the home clash against Schalke 04 after they were rested last week against Hannover.

Javi Martinez keeps his place in the centre of defence, but with Philipp Lahm not in the lineup, Bastian Schweinsteiger will instead anchor the midfield from the holding position.

For Schalke, Julian Draxler comes back into the side having started on the bench last time out, with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar continuing in the lone striker role.

Bayern: Neuer; Rafinha, Martinez, Dante, Alaba; Schweinsteiger; Kroos, Robben, Thiago, Gotze; Mandzukic

Schalke: Fahrmann; Howedes, Papadopoulos, Matip, Kolasinac; Boateng, Neustadter; Goretzka, Farfan, Draxler; Huntelaar
