Uli Hoeness: 'Jerome Boateng could still swap Bayern Munich for Paris Saint-Germain'

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness reveals that Germany defender Jerome Boateng has a 50% chance of leaving for Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has revealed that Jerome Boateng has a 50% chance of leaving for Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The defender was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United before the English transfer window closed, while a number of other clubs are thought to be monitoring his situation.

PSG were believed to have pulled the plug on a move for the Germany international after securing the transfer of Thilo Kehrer from Schalke 04, but Hoeness confirmed on Monday that a deal is still a possibility.

"Only Paris is an option," Hoeness told Sky Sports News. "If they pay accordingly, then we will deal with it.

"If they do not, he will stay with us and then everything is okay. I would say the odds are 50-50."

Boateng played the full 90 minutes of Bayern's 1-0 win over Drochtersen/Assel in the DFB-Pokal last weekend.
