Uli Hoeness insists that Arjen Robben will not leave Bayern Munich in the summer.

Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has insisted that winger Arjen Robben will not leave the club at the end of the season.

The Netherlands international is reported to be on his way out of the Allianz Arena after failing to play regularly for the German giants this campaign.

"He's had a good season and will play an important role here, if he stays fit," Hoeness told Kicker.

"He has always been an individualist and will never pass every ball to his teammates. That is his strength."

Robben joined Bayern from Real Madrid in 2009.
