After impressing massively, the ex-Fulham loanee has attracted interest serious interest from major clubs across the continent, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims that both Serie A powerhouses Juventus and Bavarian giants Bayern Munich are keeping a close eye on Lookman ahead of the new campaign.

It is understood that teams in the Premier League are also huge admirers of the 26-year-old, who has experience in England at Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham and Leicester City.

With his current terms expiring in 2026, Lookman is said to be content at Atalanta, but is keeping his options open ahead of pre-season training.

Wolves 'verbally agree' Strand Larsen deal

Although a move to the Premier League remains in doubt for Lookman due to the host of top sides on the continent pursuing his services, it appears that the English top flight will be welcoming a new arrival in the near future.

As reported by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Wolverhampton Wanderers are closing in on the signing of Celta Vigo striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

It is believed that the Black Country outfit and Celta have "verbally agreed" to a deal for the 24-year-old, who scored 13 times in 37 La Liga contests during 2023-24.

Strand Larsen has relative international pedigree having featured on 14 occasions for Norway at a senior level, appearing in a friendly against Kosovo earlier this month.

The final hurdle in a move to the West Midlands for the 24-year-old are personal terms, however it is said that a deal remains extremely close to completion.

Wolves are set to pay €30m (£25.4m) for the services of Larsen, who has been a regular appearance maker for Celta Vigo since joining from Groningen in 2022.

May only moved to the Valley from Cheltenham Town last summer and hit the ground running, netting 23 goals in 43 League One matches to lift the division's Golden Boot.

The Addicks were significantly improved under the stewardship of former Luton Town and Southampton manager Nathan Jones in the latter stages of the term and are now being backed to challenge for promotion in 2024-25.
