Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has claimed that Germany "fully deserve" their World Cup win.

Joachim Low's side beat Argentina 1-0 in Sunday's final thanks to Mario Gotze's winning goal in extra time.

Speaking to the club's official website, Spanish boss Guardiola said: "This is amazing for Germany. I'd like to congratulate all my players and head coach Joachim Low.

"Enjoy this unbelievable World Cup win. Germany fully deserve it."

Meanwhile, popstar Rihanna took part in Germany's celebrations following the victory.
