Former Villarreal and Real Murca coach Julio Velazguez has been appointed as the new manager of Segunda Division side Real Betis.
The 32-year-old, who departed Murca at the end of last season, has replaced Gabriel Calderon, who left Betis after failing to keep the club in La Liga.
"Julio Velazquez Santiago will be the manager of Real Betis from 1st July," read a statement from Betis.
"This young but experienced coach takes the reins after a remarkable season with Real Murcia, who qualified for the playoff for promotion despite many adversities before the start of the season."
Velazquez has become Betis's fourth coach in less than a year.
