Ruben Castro: 'I will not leave Real Betis'

Real Betis forward Ruben Castro insists that he has no plans to leave the club at the end of the season.

Real Betis forward Ruben Castro has insisted that he will not seek a move away from the Spanish club at the end of the season despite their probable relegation to the Segunda Division.

Betis currently sit bottom of La Liga, nine points from safety with just 10 games remaining, but Castro has once more reiterated his desire to remain in Seville.

"There have been reports of interest from various teams and that's fine, there are people showing confidence in me, but both my agent and Betis know that I want to stay here," he told Marca.

"If I go, that's up to Betis, but I'm very happy here."

Castro joined Betis from Deportivo La Coruna in 2010.
