Report: Joaquin to return to Real Betis

Reports in Spain claim that Fiorentina attacker Joaquin will return to Real Betis before the end of this summer's transfer window.

Fiorentina attacker Joaquin will reportedly be granted his wish to return to Real Betis before the Spanish transfer window slams shut on Monday.

The 34-year-old has made no secret of his desire to return to Betis, where he came through the youth system and went on to make over 200 league appearances.

Fiorentina have thus far maintained their stance that the Spaniard will not be sold, but according to reports in Seville, Joaquin will complete a return to Betis before the window is closed.

The 51-time Spain international, whose Fiorentina deal is due to expire next summer, joined Betis in 1994.
