Huddersfield Town have held off a late Birmingham City fightback to earn a 2-1 win in their Championship match at St Andrew's.
Daniel Ward came close early on for the visitors as he exchanged passes with Jonathan Hogg before drilling an effort narrowly wide.

Huddersfield took the lead in the 10th minute when Oliver Norwood met Ward's cross to fire home from inside the box.
Nahki Wells came close to equalising for the hosts when he flicked the ball towards goal following Ward's knockdown, but Darren Randolph kept out his strike.
The home side had a chance when Chris Burke saw his curling effort saved by Alex Smithies, before Wells saw his snap-shot kept out.
On the hour mark Adam Clayton doubled the visitors' lead when he fired a long-range effort into the top corner.
Olly Lee pulled a goal back for Birmingham in the fifth minute of stoppage time, but it proved to be too late as Huddersfield held on to claim the three points.
