Lee Clark reveals Ravel Morrison talks

Lee Clark suggests that he is prepared to give loanee midfielder Ravel Morrison the chance to prove himself at Birmingham City.

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has revealed that he has held discussions with loanee midfielder Ravel Morrison.

Reports over the last couple of days had claimed that Clark had become frustrated at Morrison's attitude and as a result was keen to send the attacker back to his parent club West Ham United.

However, Clark has hinted that he has given the former Manchester United youngster a chance to prove himself at St Andrews.

"I have had a good chat with Ravel this week and he knows where he wants to be and he knows how he's got to get there," he told the Birmingham Mail. "We brought him in because he's a talented young man but there's more than talent that gets you in the team.

"Ravel understands that and he's going to be working extremely hard over the coming weeks to get that sorted."

Morrison has made just one start for the Blues so far this season.
