Blackburn Rovers defender Alex Baptiste has credited a "great team performance" for their draw with Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The Championship side earned themselves a replay on Sunday as they held the Merseysiders to a stalemate at Anfield.

Baptiste believes that every member of the Rovers side played their part during a satisfying afternoon for the visitors.

"We defended really well as a team," he told BT Sport. "The midfield in front of us and Rudy Gestede up front put a real shift in. We had some good chances in the first half and it was a great team performance."

Blackburn are back in action on Wednesday when they host Bolton Wanderers in the league.
