Blackburn and Watford can't find a breakthrough in the opening 45 minutes of their Championship fixture this afternoon.

Blackburn Rovers and Watford have failed to find the opening goal in a first half of few chances at Ewood Park.

The hosts were the first to seriously test the opposition keeper when Jason Lowe's effort was well held by Manuel Almunia.

Marco Cassetti had a good chance set up an equaliser but he could only find a defender when two teammates were waiting in the box for the cut-back.

Colin Kazim-Richards fired in a low drive from distance with 10 minutes left of the half but it skipped narrowly wide.
