Huddersfield Town have taken a 1-0 lead into half-time in their clash with Blackburn Rovers thanks to a goal from Lee Novak.
Despite enjoying more possession in the early stages, poor marking from the hosts almost allowed Blackburn to take the lead but Scott Dann failed to find the target with a free header from a Ruben Rochina corner.
Huddersfield took advantage of their early reprieve by opening the scoring in the 15th minute when Novak reacted quickest to a loose ball to finish well past Paul Robinson.
The visitors searched for an equaliser until late in the first period, with Rochina going close from long range but it was Jordan Rhodes who pulled a goal back for Rovers with a smart finish from inside the box.
