Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has said that he is hopeful Jason Lowe's injury problems are now firmly behind him.
The former England Under-21s international has been plagued by a troublesome foot over the past 18 months.
Having undergone a second operation to rectify the issue earlier this week, Lowe is now back on the road to recovery and eyeing up a first-team spot.
Speaking to the club's official website, Bowyer said: "I spoke to him on the phone and he is really positive as he is.
"He is now ready to go through the hard work that is needed to get him back. Hopefully this is it now, he can put it to bed and just focus on him playing again for Rovers."
Lowe featured four times for Rovers at the start of the season, before aggravating his foot injury in August's meeting with Bolton Wanderers.
