Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has credited his team for their clinical finishing following Saturday's 3-1 win away to Nottingham Forest in the Championship.
Forest earned themselves a first-half lead at the City Ground, but three goals in 12 minutes turned the game in Blackburn's favour after the break.
While insisting that Rovers should not get carried away by the result, Bowyer believes that their performance saw them come away with a deserved victory.
"We have ability in the dressing room and belief and that was shown. We have the ability to create chances and score goals," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"Our local media did some research on how many chances we create in games and it turned out that we had been creating something like 20 chances a game, on average.
"There is a lot of improvement needed for us to keep getting better, but we do have belief and we do have ability. It is about finishing the season strong and we still have 30-odd games to go, so we are not getting carried away."
Blackburn continue their bid for promotion next Saturday at home to Reading.
