Former Blackburn Rovers forward El Hadji Diouf says that he "fears for the club" unless the board sacks manager Steve Kean.

Doncaster Rovers winger El Hadji Diouf believes that Blackburn Rovers have no chance of remaining in the Premier League unless the board sack boss Steve Kean.

The Scotsman, who signed an improved contract with the club last week, has had a difficult start to the season at Ewood Park, taking just seven points from a possible 39.

"Everyone knows Blackburn haven't got the team to stay up," said ex-Blackburn player Diouf. "Any other manager with the team in that position would have been sacked.

"The owners will see their side go down unless they make a change. I fear for the club. No-one there deserves this."

Kean's side sit at the bottom of the league table after losing 3-1 to Stoke City on Saturday.
