Steven N'Zonzi admits to violent conduct charge

N'Zonzi hit with three-match ban

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Steven N'Zonzi has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association and will carry out a three-match ban.

The ban follows the playmaker's admission of the charge which was dealt following a challenge on Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross during Blackburn's 3-1 defeat at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

The 22-year-old was not penalised during the Premier League clash, but officials were alerted to the incident via replays of the incident.

Meanwhile, Blackburn prepare to face Cardiff City in a Carling Cup quarter-final this evening.
