Blackburn Rovers owners Venky's insist that they will not be forced out of the club by disgruntled fans.
The Indian poultry company mark their first anniversary in ownership of the club on Saturday, and fans plan to mark the occasion with a fresh protest over the Venky's ownership and the leadership of manager Steve Kean.
Fans are reportedly planning to lay flowers at the statue of former owner Jack Walker to signify the death of their club.
Despite a Qatari oil giant being linked to an ownership bid, Venky's insist that they plan to stay at Rovers.
"We are here to stay with the club. We're not interested in giving it to anybody," co-owner Venkatesh Rao said.
"It's like our baby. Money isn't everything to us. The passion is there and we don't want to let the fans down. We've had no offer. God willing, we'll be here for a long time."
Blackburn are currently 19th in the Premier League with six points from 11 games.
