Preview: Blackburn Rovers vs. Barnsley

Sports Mole looks ahead to the match between Blackburn Rovers and Barnsley at Ewood Park.

Blackburn Rovers will be looking to pick up their first victory of the season when they face Barnsley on Saturday.

Gary Bowyer's side sit 22nd in the Championship after drawing one and losing two of their opening three matches, including last Friday's 2-0 defeat at Doncaster Rovers.

Barnsley are a place behind Rovers in the table having also failed to win any of their three Championship fixtures so far.

The Tykes secured their first point of the campaign with a 2-2 draw against Charlton Athletic last week.

Bowyer has no fresh injury concerns and could name the same side which lost against Doncaster.

New Barnsley signings Marcus Pedersen and Paddy McCourt could be handed their debuts at Ewood Park by boss David Flitcroft.
