Cardiff City striker Rudy Gestede is reportedly on the verge of joining Blackburn Rovers on loan with a view to a permanent deal in January.
The 25-year-old is yet to feature for Cardiff since their promotion to the Premier League, despite appearing in half of last season's matches in the Championship.
According to Sports Direct News, Blackburn are ready to bring the Benin international to Ewood Park on loan before making the move permanent in the next transfer window.
Gestede is said to be undergoing a medical in Lancashire, with Rovers looking to complete the move ahead of this weekend's fixture against in-form Leeds United.
