The decision of Blackburn Rovers to demand at least £6m for Rudy Gestede has angered the Benin international, according to reports.
Gestede's form in the Championship has seen him linked with a number of clubs, including West Bromwich Albion, Hull City and Crystal Palace, who were believed to have had a bid rejected last week.
Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has confirmed that the club are in talks with a Premier League side about possibly allowing the 26-year-old to leave Ewood Park this month.
However, Sky Sports News claims that the asking price is frustrating Gestede, who fears that the club's demands could wreck his chance of a move to the Premier League.
Gestede was absent as Blackburn were held to a 1-1 draw by Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
