Blackpool defender Donervon Daniels has urged his teammates to get fully behind new manager Lee Clark.
Clark, who was sacked by Birmingham City last week and then quickly appointed by Blackpool, saw his side lose 2-0 at home to Ipswich Town in his first game in charge yesterday.
"He is trying to instil confidence into the team, he knows what he wants and is very organised," Daniels, who is on a season-long loan from West Bromwich Albion, told the club website. "We just have to get behind him and his tactics, and move forward.
"He said to us as a team we just need to keep our heads up and keep working. We'll go again Monday in training, but we have to do it in a match, not just training.
"It's not going to be easy getting out of the position that we're in, but we're in this profession because we love it and we know what we have to do."
Blackpool are seven points adrift of safety after 15 games of the season and next travel to Fulham and Leeds United in the coming week before a two-week international break.
