Ian Holloway: 'Chasing Premier League will be the death of some clubs'

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway believes that chasing Premier League promotion can 'kill' Championship clubs.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway believes that striving for Premier League promotion can backfire on Championship clubs.

The Seasiders came achingly close to moving back up to the top flight last season and Holloway's men are working towards reaching the "promised land" during this campaign.

"Teams are so desperate to get to that promised land and all the wedge that it brings," The Express quotes Holloway as saying. "So much so that it will be the death of some clubs."

Blackpool are due to take on Hull City this evening.
