Blackpool striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher's knee injury is not as serious as first feared.
The 30-year-old was stretchered off during Blackpool's FA Cup tie with Everton at the weekend.
Initial reports suggested that Taylor-Fletcher had suffered ligament damage and was facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
However, manager Ian Holloway has revealed that his centre-forward picked up some bruising to the bone.
"It's bone bruising and sometimes that can be absolutely lethal because it takes ages to clear," Holloway told the club's official website.
"Hopefully it doesn't [take long to clear], because he's sorely missed."
Taylor-Fletcher joined the Tangerines in 2007.
