Preview: Blackpool vs. Bolton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship clash between Blackpool and Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday night.

Blackpool are looking to recapture their fine early-season form on Tuesday night when struggling Bolton Wanderers visit Bloomfield Road.

Paul Ince's side have not won any of their last three Championship games but still sit seventh in the table following a battling 1-1 draw at Huddersfield Town last Friday.

The Seasiders will be without Angel Martinez for the all-Lancashire clash as he was sent off for a second bookable offence late on against Huddersfield.

Bolton are still searching for their first league win of the season heading into October after a dreadful start to the campaign that continued with a 1-1 draw at home to Yeovil Town last weekend.

Alex Baptiste's late header spared their blushes against Yeovil, but Trotters boss Dougie Freedman is still searching for the right blend this season after nine games without a victory.

Jermaine Beckford is among the Bolton players looking to earn a recall on Tuesday, with Darren Pratley and Zat Knight also entering Freedman's thoughts.
