Blackpool have got their pre-season campaign off to a winning start with a comfortable 4-0 victory against Penrith at Frenchfield Park.
The visitors started the contest with five trialists on the field, and one of them gave Blackpool the lead with 13 minutes on the clock when he bundled home Bobby Grant's free kick.
Grant was involved again for the second goal eight minutes later when he skipped past his man before playing a trialist through on goal, and the unnamed player rounded the goalkeeper to double the Tangerines' advantage.
The third soon followed as Segei Zenjov's near-post flick found its way into the net for his first Blackpool goal, and the impressive Grant volleyed home from close range to complete the rout before the 30-minute mark.
Blackpool introduced more trialists and youth team players in the second half, but they were unable to add to their scoring.
