Blackpool winger Thomas Ince's transfer deadline-day saga has concluded with him joining Crystal Palace on a loan move until the end of the season.
The Tangerines, who acquire Eagles playmaker Stephen Dobbie as part of the deal, have shown a willingness to part with their star asset since his father Paul Ince was sacked as manager earlier this month.
The 22-year-old's Bloomfield Road contract expires in the summer and he was seeking a temporary deal until the close of this campaign, which would allow him to be a free agent in the next transfer window.
That is seemingly the reason that his switch to Stoke City, who had agreed a fee with Blackpool to sign Ince on a permanent deal, fell through, while Cardiff City and Swansea City failed to lure him to Wales.
Ince has scored seven goals in 25 appearances for the Seasiders this season.
