Blackpool midfielder Liam Tomsett has signed a new one-year contract with the Championship club.
The 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Conference side Hyde, has the option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.
"I know the gaffer didn't get much chance to have a look at me last season because I was on loan at Hyde, but I'm happy that he's giving me a chance," Tomsett told the club's official website.
"Hopefully I can impress him this season because I think it's a big one for me."
Blackpool start the new Championship campaign at Doncaster Rovers on August 3.
