Bologna and Sampdoria have played out a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in Serie A.
Hosts Bologna took the lead midway through the first half through Alberto Gilardino, who found the target with a glancing header following a cross from Saphir Taider from the left wing.
It was Bologna's 3,000th goal in Serie A but the home fans' celebrations were short-lived as Sampdoria equalised just before the hour mark.
Gianluca Sansone, who had looked lively throughout the match, ran into the Bologna penalty box and smashed home to make it 1-1 and earn Genoa a share of the spoils.
