Neil Danns and Barry Bannan have been suspended by Bolton Wanderers following an alleged fight the night before their 2-2 Championship draw against Brentford.
The pair did not play a part in this afternoon's match and were sent home after an incident at the Bolton team hotel.
"I am not a massive disciplinarian but we set standards at the club and discourage players from going out and socialising," manager Neil Lennon told Sky Sports News.
"I am disappointed with their behaviour - they fell short of what is required of them and have been suspended, but I'm in a good mood today so we'll see how long it's for."
Danns signed for Bolton last summer after spending last season on loan at the Macron Stadium, while Bannan joined the club on loan from Crystal Palace in February.
