Neil Lennon: 'Draw was a fair result against Leeds United'

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon admits that his side did not deserve more than a point against Leeds following their 1-1 draw at the Macron Stadium.

Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon has admitted that his side's 1-1 draw with Leeds United was a "fair result".

The Trotters had to come from behind at the Macron Stadium on Saturday as Eidur Gudjohnsen's first goal since his return to the club earned them a point.

Lennon believes that Bolton only deserved a share of the spoils following a lacklustre performance from his players.

"I think in the end it was a fair result," he is quoted as saying by the club's official website. "We're disappointed, but satisfied with a point because we were nowhere near our best.

"We wanted to impose ourselves on the game early on, but unfortunately we never really did that. A lot was said at half time and we did get off on the front foot at the start of the second half."

Bolton, who are up to 16th place in the Championship table, are back in action next Saturday when they make the trip to Sheffield Wednesday.
