Neil Lennon has claimed that Bolton Wanderers were victims of an "appalling" refereeing display in the 1-1 draw with Reading at the Macron Stadium.
Jamie Mackie scored in stoppage time to clinch a point for Reading, and Lennon could not hide his disappointment when reflecting on the performance of Mark Haywood.
"It is not sour grapes but the refereeing performance was nothing short of appalling," the Bolton boss told reporters.
"[Kevin] McNaughton gets kicked right in front of the linesman and nothing is given. [Zach] Clough gets tackled from behind the referee waves play on. He actually gave a throw in to us in the second half and let Reading take it.
"I asked the fourth official to explain that decision and he couldn't. You despair sometimes."
The result leaves Bolton 17th in the Championship table.
