David Wheater claims that Bolton Wanderers have an easier run-in than their Premier League rivals this season.

Bolton Wanderers defender David Wheater is confident that his side can stave off the threat of relegation this season.

The 25-year-old defender has also claimed that the Trotters have an easier run-in than that of their Premier League rivals.

"We've looked at the fixtures and I think we have got the easiest run-in. They're not easy games, of course, but compared to everyone else they look okay," Wheater told the Bolton News.

"Wigan and QPR have got to play the top five but it's down to us at the end of it. If we pick up the points and play confidently, then we will be fine."

Wheater joined Bolton from Middlesbrough in 2011.
