Bolton Wanderers make Giles Coke loan swoop

Bolton Wanderers complete a move for Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon has strengthened his injury-hit squad with the loan signing of Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Giles Coke.

Lennon saw Zach Clough, Kevin McNaughton and David Wheater all suffer injuries against Reading on Tuesday night, with the trio all scheduled to miss the remainder of the campaign.

However, Lennon has wasted no time in boosting his side with a loan move for Coke, who will remain at the Trotters for the remainder of the season.

The 28-year-old has made 16 appearances for the Owls since August, but he hasn't featured in the first team since November.
