Bolton Wanderers sign Bulgarian youngster Simeon Slavchev on loan from Sporting

Bolton Wanderers sign their second youngster from Portugal in the January transfer window by adding Simeon Slavchev on loan from Sporting Lisbon.

Bolton Wanderers have made their first signing on transfer deadline day by bringing in young Bulgarian Simeon Slavchev on loan from Sporting Lisbon.

The 21-year-old, who is a senior international with Bulgaria, joins the Trotters in a deal until the end of the season.

Slavchev is yet to make an appearance for Sporting's first team after joining from Bulgarian side Lovech, for whom he scored 14 goals last season.

He becomes the second youngster to join from Portugal after the arrival of Rochinha last week.
