Lee-Barrett moves to the Reebok Stadium as cover for Adam Bogdan, who suffered knee ligament damage during training on Monday.
The 29-year-old will act as cover for Andy Lonergan, who will deputise in place of the Hungarian stopper.
Lee-Barrett made 40 appearances during his four-year spell at Portman Road.
