Newcastle track Mark Davies?

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew could make a summer move for Bolton Wanderers' Mark Davies, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.

Davies, 23, has impressed in the Trotters midfield this season despite their lowly position, and could depart the club if they are relegated from the Premier League.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers player's contract runs until 2015, but Pardew is reportedly confident of securing his man at the end of the season.

Newcastle return to domestic action against Wolves on February 25.
