Newcastle United wait before Mark Davies bid

Newcastle United will wait to see if Bolton Wanderers are relegated before making a move for midfielder Mark Davies.

The 23-year-old has impressed during a difficult season at the wrong end of the table for the Trotters.

Magpies boss Alan Pardew has now put Davies on a shortlist of potential summer additions to his squad, reports the Bolton News.

West Bromwich Albion are also thought to be interested in the player.
