Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp likens Malaga's Isco to Mario Gotze ahead of their Champions League tie on Wednesday.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has likened Malaga playmaker Isco to Mario Gotze ahead of their Champions League tie this evening.

The Bundesliga champions travel to La Rosaleda for the quarter-final first leg and the BVB boss has said that such is the quality of the two youngsters that people often forget that both players are still just 20 years of age.

"With young players like Isco and Gotze we do not think about how old they are," Klopp told reporters ahead of the game.

"Isco is an excellent player, they are both very good. We have seen and analysed a lot of their games. They are doing very well and are an experienced team with strong defensive and offensive systems.

"The tie is open, it is a great opportunity and we are happy to play Malaga. Manuel Pellegrini is an excellent coach.

The return leg will be played at Westfalenstadion on April 9.
