Goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Shinji Kagawa have given Borussia Dortmund a 2-0 half-time lead over Eintracht Frankfurt at Signal Iduna Park.
Frankfurt started the game brightly to put the home side under pressure in the early stages, but it was Dortmund who created the first chance when Jakub Blaszczykowski's inviting cross was headed over the crossbar by Aubameyang.

As Dortmund begun to dominate proceedings they were gifted the opportunity to break the deadlock when Sonny Kittel handled the ball inside the box.
Aubameyang took on the responsibility from 12 yards and he left Kevin Trapp helpless by finding the net with a confident chipped penalty.
The Gabon international played a key role in making it 2-0 eight minutes later as he linked up with Erik Durm before finding Shinji Kagawa, who kept his composure to slot home from close range.
Frankfurt threatened to hit back before the break, but Nelson Valdez sent his effort just over the crossbar after finding space on the edge of the box.
