Long-term absentee Neven Subotic has made a return to training with Borussia Dortmund's first-team squad for the first time since undergoing surgery.
The 27-year-old, who was heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League in the summer, has not featured for the Bundesliga side since the middle of March.
Subotic went under the knife in July in a bid to resolve the rib injury that had kept him on the sidelines, and he has now been deemed fit enough to take part in a training session with those not involved in international action.

Dortmund have had a number of injury issues to contend with already this season, particularly at the back where Marcel Schmelzer, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lukasz Piszczek, Raphael Guerreiro and Erik Durm have all been battling to return to full fitness.
